Jason Franklin Ph.D.
Dr. Franklin is an experienced venture capital fund manager and an award-winning computer scientist. Most recently he has been managing a $100M venture capital fund sponsored by four large corporations, and has been investing successfully into AI and advanced technologies for over 10 years. He received a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University where he published more than a dozen papers in top tier conferences, was awarded multiple best paper awards and top fellowships including the DHS Fellowship and the NSF Graduate Fellowship. He also holds the 2012 Allen Newell Award (named after one of Artificial Intelligence’s founding father), and is a highly-cited researcher (2k+, H:10) & co-inventor of FAWN (flash-storage array technology) which started a 45B industry.

Danielle D’Agostaro
Danielle is an experienced venture capital investor and operator, with a demonstrated history of leading early stage startup investments, having most recently been a principal partner at a $100m venture capital fund, where she has sourced & executed deals in advanced AI technologies since 2020. Her career helping early stage companies succeed began with building the Alchemist Accelerator into the leading enterprise accelerator in the country where she was Managing Partner and COO. In that role, not only did she run the daily operations of the company, but she also invested in and worked with over 400 companies such as LaunchDarkly, Rigetti Quantum Computing, and Cobalt.io.

Matthew Maurer is an entrepreneur and experienced venture investor, having deployed capital into health & AI technology companies for over 4 years at a $100M fund. Prior to his career in venture capital, Matt worked at Cigna as a senior director, where his exited startup, Stroll Health, had landed. Stroll was a digital health company that reverse-engineered healthcare pricing models to allow patients and providers to find affordable in-network care. Stroll was named the best experience in America for choosing care by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.

Steve has been the chief legal and operations officer for a $100M venture capital fund for nearly six years, handling everything from deal structuring to investor relations to employee benefits. Prior to his career in venture capital, Steve worked at JPMorgan in the area of digital transformation of documentation/processes, and before that in corporate restructuring at Sidley Austin LLP. At Sidley, Steven represented large corporations, financial institutions and funds in complex regulatory and restructuring matters.
